Be upbeat but not phony. Congratulate them for being eligible and taking this step.
Acknowledge their reason for wanting an expungement (it's in the details panel).
Confirm what they were arrested for — builds credibility that we're expunging the right thing.
Tell them the sooner they start, the sooner it's over. Usually ~2 months after filing.
HIGHLY ENCOURAGE people with a job to start today. Close rate should be high for employed clients. The expungement isn't filed until paid in full.
ALWAYS get a payment at setup to verify the card works. Doesn't have to be the full recurring amount — $50-$75 is ideal, but let the client decide what they're comfortable with. Never start a payment plan without a same-day payment. You must charge a $100 payment plan fee for every person that is on the payment plan. Inform the client of this just before you charge their card. Also, ALWAYS tell clients that the charge will show up on their credit card as "Hypenow" and that we are the third-party payment processor and agency for Semko Law Office.
✅ Winning Formula: Be genuine → Acknowledge their situation → Confirm what's being expunged → Present the payment options → Get them started today
