📝 The Expungement Process

1. Lawyer files expungement in the county of arrest
2. Prosecutor has 30 days to respond — usually they don't object
3. Judge sets court date/hearing for the expungement. The client usually doesn't have to appear.
4. Judge issues order of expungement which seals criminal case(s) from public view, shielding it from background checks on the individual

Access Customer Payments from the sidebar. You'll need your 4-digit admin PIN to enter.

💵 Full Pay Now

Use this when a client wants to pay their entire balance today.

1. Search for the client by name — their fee auto-populates
2. Verify/update their email, phone, address, SSN, and driver license
3. Confirm the payment amount
4. Enter their card information
5. Click "Charge Now" — card is charged immediately
6. Client is automatically moved to "Semko Paid In Full" stage in Lawmatics

📅 New Payment Plan

Use this for clients who want to pay over time.

1. Search for the client — fee auto-populates as the Expungement Fee
2. Add a Payment Plan Fee if applicable (can be $0)
3. Enter First Payment Amount and First Payment Date (usually today)
4. Enter Each Payment Amount and set Recurring Payments Start date
5. Choose Payment Frequency — Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Twice Monthly, or Custom
6. Fill in address, SSN, driver license, and card info
7. Review the payment schedule preview before submitting
8. Click "Activate Payment Plan"
